Yesterday, Mesquite received torrential downpours for several hours. It rained all night and into the afternoon. With three active boys at my house for the day I was definitely singing rain rain go away. Fortunately it stopped around 12:30 p.m. and I took the boys to Mickey D's and let them play.
Right after I took this picture a huge clap of thunder scared me off my front porch and back inside!
